This special gathering for supporters of the RAND Legacy Society was held in the courtyard of RAND’s Santa Monica headquarters campus. The event featured a presentation by RAND archivist Cara McCormick, who treated guests to a walk through RAND’s history. She recognized notable RAND alumni with photos and stories about their contributions to RAND, and introduced longtime RAND supporter Marcia Carlucci. Carlucci spoke about her family’s connection to RAND and the motivation behind their philanthropic support for the organization, which includes the endowed Frank and Marcia Carlucci Dean position at the Pardee RAND Graduate School, currently held by Nancy Staudt.
