RAND hosted a launch event for the RAND Epstein Family Veterans Policy Research Institute in Washington, D.C. The event featured a panel discussion with the institute’s directors, Carrie Farmer and Rajeev Ramchand, and Jeremy Butler, CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. The panel, which was moderated by National Public Radio correspondent Quil Lawrence, addressed pressing issues that veterans are facing today—and how RAND research is improving understanding of the needs of veterans and their families.
